Genetics to Blame?
Having someone be genetically prone to certain tendancies doesn't mean we have no say in how we act. I'm genetically prone through both of my grandfather's and my father to be an alcoholic. Yes, I do have a tendancy towards alcohol and drug abuse. But I make a conscious effort to stay in control.
We all have free will and cannot hold genetics at fault.
666?
I don't think we're suppose to look for someone who has something about 666 in their name or something connected to them that adds up to 666. The bible points out that it a mans number, probably pointing to mankind and not any specific man.
If it means mankind then maybe it means the attitude that is like Nero's? Nero hated christians and slaughtered many of them. Maybe Revelation is pointing to an attitude that will fill the worlds population towards christians. A hatred like that of Nero's.
Hatred is already developing intensly towards christians, in truth all religions. It's not so hard to imagine that one day soon people of faith will be stripped of rights, belongings, beaten, imprisoned and murdered because of their faith.
It wouldn't be the first time. But Revelation and other books in the bible point to it as being the last time it will happen.
