He is a black werewolf with deep red crimson eyes and an upsidedown red creasent moon on his forehead with a red stripe going diagional across it from the top right to the bottom left. His body is covered in random jewels tied onto his fur and maine, black coal covered gems embroidered in gold. Random markings of red seemed to be brushed across his body, an old rumor that it was the stains of blood from the ones he killed since his joy in life is to fulfill the werewolf meaning and kill as many to his liking. Blackened heart and stormy mind, he is very cunning and posessing a strength greater then what one gets after the transformation, his power unmatched by many. He keeps a collar around his neck with a broken chain hanging off it, a warning to many that he cannot be contained or brought down easily. He has a special power that was granted to him when he was bitten by a werewolf which gives him acess into unsuspecting minds, forcing them to do whatever he wants once inside their mental barriers.
HistoryHe was the one that had changed Siofra to what she is, finding her dying on the streets of old Ireland after a mob of drunken men attacked her, molested her, and made away with her valuables she had on herself. One look at her made Zaroff fall madly in love with her, wanting her for himself for all of eternity. As he was about bite into her neck, her right elbow instead met his large fangs as she flinched back from his attack. As he was about to take her away with him while she was changing, the local town's soldiers chased him off, being way too many as so few of them knew on what he was, penetrating his steel hide with silver swords. Running away into the hills with painful wounds, he tried again and again for many days to get into her room to take her pained body with him. Since her parents were well knowledged on the dark arts of Hell blooded creatures, they had set up barriers with silver crosses to keep him out, knowing that he would be back. Angered with this, he followed her for almost 600 years as he tried to get to her, the werewolf tribe she was now in making it more difficult for him to continue to stalk her. With many failed attempts to get into the tribe, he becomes a part of it and is accepted because of his strong figure. His cunning persuasions leaving the entire clan feeling comfortable around him after only a few weeks. He then becomes close to Siofra, her being a highly reconignized creature in the clan, making her talk with him and go out for small strolls as friends. Sholto never came to comfortable with the werewolf, becomming enraged when he had seen him kissing Siofra against her will in a sexual manner with her pinned to a tree. He then disappeared right after as Sholto attacked him, pretending that he had no idea what had happened and making part of the Council of Elders believe him and still letting him roam free. A month later, the clan was attacked by a great army from all directions, leaving them confused and disoriented on the sudden unheard attack. Zaroff killed Sholto right in front of Siofra, trying to make her fall in love with him by boring into her mind. He easily beat her off but by a simple distraction of a small exploding arrow was he beaten when Siofra cut off his head with her sword and watched his body fall. His soul was then banished to Tartarus were most werewolf rogues go to when they have taken a tremendous amout of other's lives for their own gain. He actually enjoys himself down there by usually tormenting other's banished souls in harsh ways that are unspeakable, giving the newer ones the worst of times. He awaits for any living organism from the surface world to travel down to this darkest place, attaching himself to them unknowingly to bring him to the surface as well to continue his search for the one he wants.
Weapon: A long, black hilted sword that he had named Angra Mainyu, meaning, "Evil Spirit" in Avestan. In Persian mythology Angra Mainyu was the god of darkness, death and destruction, the enemy of Ahura Mazda. Zaroff uses this sword in both forms, his wolven hands easily gripping onto the largely hilted sword with swift and deadly accuracy. The sword has a special poison along its sharp edges for whenever he cuts into another's flesh, the person slowly starts to become paralyzed minutes after being hit. The poison on the person lasts for a little more then a day until the body finally cleans it out or healed by a certain antidote made from a drop of the poison, crystal clean water, freshly plucked red rose petals, and dragon fruit. The dragon fruit is hardest to get for it is in the heart of Dragon Crater, a valley in the mouth of a dormant volcano hidden in the middle of Russia. Not the ones that are grown down in the southern countries of Central America.
Powers:
Mental control: As said before, Zaroff himself is bred with a skill of controling another's mind if they just manage to lower their defences. A power aquired during his transformation as it is usually does among werewolves that makes them, unique.
