An Important Dream
I wake up in the morning,
Bells are ringing in my head.
But i'm glad for all the noise,
then I know I am not dead.
I run up all the stairs
but only to find,
that something so important,
has been erased from my mind.
It's driving me insane,
not knowing what it is.
Nothing has been important,
not important quite like this.
I know I dreamt it up last night,
I try to recall the dream.
Nothing's coming back to me,
My thought is lost it may seem.
Then at night I go to sleep,
I am tired, i'm quite beat.
Then I dream that dream,
a dream of you it is so sweet.
