~~~Episode Thirty-Seven~~~
Wheeljack piloted the small pod expertly, while Haku remained silent as he saw on the mech’s leg. There were several rocks that came in view, and Haku was wondering just exactly where the Decepticons base was.
An asteroid didn’t seem too great of a hiding place.
“Wheeljack, what’s that?”
Haku asked, suddenly noticing something.
The mechanic looked up and tensed. A strange reading had been picked up, and a small screen showed a blurred shape…
“The Decepticon’s base is in that asteroid.”
Wheeljack informed Haku as he began to click and tap several buttons. Haku also tensed – mainly because he had nothing to hold onto as the ship lurched slightly.
A shadow came over him before a large hand curled protectively around him.
“I’ll hold onto you Haku. Just stay still and quiet, kay?”
Haku replied with a nod, shifting slightly in Wheeljack’s grip until he went still. He wondered if using one hand would hinder Wheeljack’s ability to pilot the pod, but that question disappeared as they entered the asteroid and darkness came over them.
He didn’t mean to, but Haku closed his eyes as a strange light flashed in front of the windshield. The pod shook slightly before he felt the grip around him loosen.
“Right. We’re in range. Now all we have to do is sneak in and save Yuri.”
Haku stood, crossing his arms.
“You make it sound easy.”
He said with a faint smile.

“He what?!”
Jazz shouted, shocked. Bumblebee shook his head, and Zeph stepped forward.
“We’ve go to go help them! I should’ve known Haku would do something like this…”
Optimus turned,
“Prowl, do you have pods ready?”
Prowl looked up, nodding slightly.
“Yes sir…but are you suggesting we follow Wheeljack’s rough example of a plan?”
He asked, keeping his blue optics on his leader. Optimus took a moment and nodded.
“Yes. A pod is difficult for the Decepticons to pick up. We’ll send a five man team in pods and then follow with the ship to distract the Decepticons for a moment. Find Wheeljack, Haku, and Yuri and get them out of there – that is the only priority. We’ve already had a scuffle with the Decepticons today, and I would prefer we don’t jump into another.”
Prowl had already began entering the information onto his data pad and turned.
“Mirage, Hound, Bumblebee, Jazz, and Ironhide – you will be the advancing team.”
He said matter-of-factly, and the said Autobots nodded in acknowledgement. Spike and Zeph exchanged a look before Spike spoke.
“Wait – what about us?”
He asked. Optimus looked down at them,
“You will have to stay on the ship with us.”
He said. Disappointment crossed both of the boy’s faces, but they were silent.
“Right, we have a plan! So let’s roll out!’
Ironhide said, thrusting a clenched fist into the air. Jazz chuckled,
“That’s the spirit!”
He said. Spike glanced at Zeph, and the two both nodded ever so slightly.

Yuri slowly opened her eyes.
Her body ached, and the visor of her helmet had a small crack in it that ran across it’s length.
With a soft groan of pain, she sat up – using the wall to support her.
“Wha…where am I?”
She asked.
“Hey! ‘Wave, the humans awake!”
The voice instantly brought back memories, and Yuri gasped as she was pulled roughly to her feet by Rumble and Frenzy.
“And I thought we broke her!”
Frenzy joked, the two cassettes laughing a little. Soundwave knelt down, and Yuri instinctively flinched as he reached a hand towards her.
“Good. Once the files are sorted, we can deal with this one. For now, just keep a good hold of her.”
