A New Level of Geek
I've done it. I've achieved a new personal level of geekiness. For this one class I had to do a career paper over a career. Well, since I want to be a writer, I was gonna do that. But writing about writing isn't easy. It's due tomorrow, by the way. Hooray for last minute ideas. At 1 am last night, the solution hit me like a ton of bricks. So I got up and scribbled out a 2 1/2 page rough draft of my career paper. Do you know what career I chose? You guessed it, a Jedi! Two, almost 3 pages on the aspects of the life of a Jedi!! Sometimes I even amaze myself. I had the hugest geek attack ever. It's great. Once I type it, I might post it. I am not sure how the teacher is going to react, though, but hey, this is so legitimate. We had to have at least 500 words and 3 sources; well, babe, let me tell you, this has to be close to 1000 words, and with 7 sources (movies and SW website). And there is virtually no research involved, since I've been a SW fan since the tender age of 7. It's like an epiphany. I'm never going to get over this. I knew I was a geek for a reason, and this is it. It's my destiny. May the Force be with you always. whee
