Could you greet me as I walk down the hall,
like you have when I first met you that fall
The red and orange, and yellow leaves,
fell from where I met you, by those trees
Could you hug me when I'm sad,
frustrated, stressed, happy or mad
from the shunning of my existance in this place,
you bring me closer to the world with that smile on your face
Could you sit with me and say
that through everything that has happened
It will be okay.
Could you help me up,
when they back me in a corner
and say "thats enough,"
when they grabbed me by the shoulder
Could you think of those years,
I was grateful alot
and I challenge my fears
to ask for what I sought
Could you run with me
through the forest ground
past all the trees
to where the stars sing aloud
and birds sang free
We were meant to be you and I,
black and white wolf as one
we'll run through the sky
I wish for you to come
If not, though as much as I plee,
grant me one request
