Mediocrity At It's Finest
These are just random snippets from my mind... enjoy.
NetStar Chronology - Chapter 15
Altimiller is a mountainous city, like the major city of Estarion. It is south of Aqualiss, west of the Ankhol Settlement, north of the major city Bencora and minor Neo Theta, and east of the major city Kotobuki. Very windy, but not as cold as one might think. The Great Bridge extends from the highest peak in Altmiller, to the highest peak in Estarion, then continues to extend through the Other Side of Iota.

Near the Estarion side of the Bridge stood Daisaku, Green, and Yellow; as the three of them awaited the arrival of Blue and Red. Docked nearby was a large shuttle, which looked a lot like a cruise liner.

"You are a very vile man, Daisaku." Yellow glared.

"I really don't care what you think right now." Daisaku said, without looking at her.

"And you are no better for helping him, Miyamoto." She told him. "You should have known better than to have let an Empire Captain in our house!"

Green was unable to answer, feeling torn by the spite in his sister's words.

"It would be in your best interest to be quiet, girl." Daisaku looked at her through the corner of his eye. "Lest I do something the both of us will regret."

"Do you think they'll come, Admiral?" Green asked quietly, trying to change the subject.

"I think so. But even if they don't make it here, we'll still get the Gems."

"What are you plotting?" Green became worried, and narrowed his brows.

"It's just some insurance." Daisaku assured him. "And either way, I'll release the girl."

"I think you enjoy making us suffer." Charlotte growled.

Meanwhile, Red and Blue were just appearing on the Bridge, on the Altmiller side.

"We've got a long run ahead of us." Red told Blue while looking ahead.

"Yeah." Blue nodded in agreement. "You know, Daisaku could have a lot of tricks up his sleeve."

"I am aware."

"Then, you are ready for anything?"

"That I am, Yamato. Is something on your mind?"

"Only one thing; getting Charlotte to safety. Let's get moving."

"Right."

The two of them bolted along the Bridge. It wasn't long before they were stopped, though. Five Ghosts wearing dark pink undersuits blocked their path.

"Wouldn't you know it?" Red grinned. "Old Daisaku has some insurance!"

"That's a strange way of putting it." Blue looked at her strangely, then faced the Ghosts. "Out of our way. We have business to attend to."

"So, you're actually going to go through with this?" One of the Ghosts said.

"Yes!" Red yelled. "Charlotte is worth more to us than these little Gems!"

"Then hurry up! Admiral hates waiting!"

"You're not going to fight us?" Blue asked, confused.

"No. You're cooperating with the plan, so there's no reason. Get going!"

They both nodded, and bolted past the Ghosts. They ran, and ran, and ran. About fifteen minutes later, they arrived at Daisaku's position.

"So, you've finally arrived." Daisaku smiled. "I'm glad I'm in the presence of such cooperative people. First give me the Gems."

"Here." Red passed them to him, hastily. "Now let Charlotte go!"

"Fine, fine." Daisaku grinned. "A fair exchange."

Yellow and Green looked at each other.

"I hope that, no matter what comes of this, you can still be happy." Yellow said to her brother, her tone still carrying a little spite.

You don't understand how much this is hurting me, Charlotte. Green thought, closing his eyes.

Green said nothing, and Yellow returned to Red and Blue.

"Board the Eclipse." Daisaku told Green.

"We're unlocking the power in Cyberspace?" He asked, turning his attention to his Admiral.

"Yes. It is to be sure there are no interruptions. The other Captains and Lieutenants are already waiting for us."

Green nodded, then jumped through the doorway. Soon after, Daisaku followed, then the ship known as Eclipse rose and flew away.

"Now what are we going to do?" Yellow sat down. "If they've gone into Cyberspace, there's no way we can follow them. If I hadn't been captured, this wouldn't be happening."

"Charlotte." Blue told her. "We came here to rescue you. We're just dealing with things as they come. Plus, it was our fault for leaving you alone."

"Thanks, Yamato." She frowned a little.

"It's just too bad we don't have a mech, like Miyamoto has." Red sighed.

"That's it!" Yellow stood up suddenly. "We could get a Dragonfly!"

"Do you realize how much those cost?" Blue stared.

"We're not actually going to buy one, we're just going to rent some."

"Can we afford that?" Red asked.

"Well, yes and no." She smiled nervously. "It will leave us completely broke afterwards, but don't you think the safety of Iota is worth a lot more?"

"Definitely."

"We should hit the shop in Toria. Using Dragonflies to enter Cyberspace isn't exactly legal, so we'll have to be careful."

"We're going to break the law?" Red stared.

"Terra, we don't really have a choice." Blue told her. "It's either break the law, or The Empire will break Iota."

"I'm sure we won't get spotted if we launch from here." Yellow said. "There's nobody around for miles, so nobody will even know we're gone."

The three of them disappeared.

Dragonfly mechs were very unsophisticated versions of Seven Force. The origin of mechs like Seven Force are unknown, so Iota developped Dragonflies for those who researched the legendary mechs, and wished to seek them out themselves. But the use of Dragonflies in Cyberspace became illegal when the Police found out that a few of them were commiting crimes on other Networks. The design is simple. They have a seven foot long spine, at the tail end is a fin. Where the shoulder blades would be are two boosters, then a pair of wings, each wing six feet in length. When linked to a Cyberhuman, the Dragonfly scales down, so that the tail just touches the ground. They also gain a chest plate that adds a little defense. If they happened to be damaged, there's a self regeneration function; but it's not as effective as the legendary mechs.

Red, Blue, and Yellow appeared in the Square of Toria, rented their Dragonflies, then returned to the Bridge.

"Okay." Yellow said. "That took less money from our pockets than I thought."

"With the lack of business, I guess they decided to lower their prices." Red added.

"Let's just take a moment to get used to the feel of them."

They all activated their Dragonflies.

"These don't seem very sturdy." Blue looked his over.

"They're fast, though." Yellow told him. "The intention the designers had when making these was exploration. But nobody uses them, since the law forbidding Cyberspace travel was passed."

"Guess people just got bored of flying around the airspace, huh?" Red smirked.

"Seems to be the case." Blue nodded. "Anyway, let's get moving."

"Right. The operation is quite easy." Yellow said. "Since these are synched with our bodies, all we need to do is channel our energy into the boosters when we want to move. This initial boost will take a lot of our energy, since we need to escape the gravity. But once we get into Cyberspace, we won't need to use much at all."

"Why not?" Red asked.

"Since there's no gravity, the slightest push will give us a considerable boost. This will give us time to recharge, and allow us to dodge if need be."

"The first step is always the hardest." Blue looked at the sky.

"Ready, everyone?" Yellow asked both of them.

"I've been ready ever since we got these things!" Red laughed.

"I'm ready." Blue nodded.

"Then let's go!"

The three of them crouched, jumped up, then released a ton of energy; sending them rocketting into the sky. Once they had exited the gravitational pull of Iota, they stopped releasing energy.

"Eh?" Red looked down.

"What is it, Terra?" Yellow asked.

"Where's the sun?"

"Oh, I don't know."

"The sun and moon are just illusions." Blue told them. "They are visible from the surface, but once you exit the Network, you can't see them. I don't know exactly how it works, but it just does."

"In any case, we need to get moving." Yellow looked ahead.

Red and Blue nodded, and they continued to pursue the Eclipse.

"How do we know if we can catch up to them?" Red asked.

"The Eclispe needs more power to move such a large hull, so the energy is focused just enough to get it off the ground." Blue answered. "The Dragonflies, on the other hand, are built for speed and exploration, as Charlotte had told us. If we continue moving at our current pace, we can make it there in no time."

They continued flying, hoping they would catch up before The Empire achieved its goals.

Meanwhile, on board the Eclipse, Daisaku was talking to Green. Supreme was in the room, standing beside Daisaku.

Supreme wore the uniform of a Ghost, minus the helmet, but his Class was unknown. His undersuit was dark red, and he had a dark red cape. He looked about sixteen, and had white hair, and silver irises. Behind each ear was a clasp which held three long white feathers.

"What is it, Captain Green?" Daisaku asked.

"I was wondering something." Green answered. "How are you going to implement the revival of Satarage?"

"Based on Eddie's extensive research, the Guardian of Destruction had an invincible body. If we unseal him from the Gems completely, he might revolt. Power can do that to someone. And if that happened, we wouldn't be able to defeat him."

"So... what are you going to do?"

"Eddie figured out the power can be channeled into a different body. The body will be invincible, as long as the Gems have their power."

"But didn't you say if they have power, the seal is stronger?"

"Let me rephrase that." Daisaku grumbled a little. "We look at each Gem having two wavelengths, positive and negative. The negative strengthens the seal and restricts the Guardian's power. The positive strengthens the Guardian. When the power of Satarage is imbued into another entity through the Gems, they turn from neutral to positive. They were neutral because of the power that your friends absorbed."

"So the powers will turn back to normal when Satarage is revived?"

"No." Daisaku was getting a little annoyed, but he was still patient. "By absorbing the Gem's powers, the negative wavelength was removed. When you remove a negative, that is technically adding a positive. When all four negatives are removed, the wavelength will be neutral, and therefore allow the Guardian to break the seal. When the seal is broken, that's adding a positive since Satarage's power is stronger. So you get to keep your powers, and Satarage is free."

"I understand, now." Green nodded slowly.

"Good."

"One more question, sir."

"Yes?"

"Who is going to be the one who receives the power?"

"Somebody who has stood by me ever since the first day of The Empire, the one who helped me spread the word in our earliest years, and one who's unfaltering loyalty has led me to trust him." Daisaku looked at Supreme. "That would be you, my right-hand."

"What?" Supreme blinked. "Are you sure you want to give me such an important task?"

"Well, yes. You were the one who helped me out, by getting my initial plans off the ground."

"Thank you sir. I can assure you I will help out in any way I can."

"Very good."

"I'm..."

Suddenly, a beep came from Supreme's communicator. He pressed his fingers behind his right ear.

"Supreme here." He said.

Supreme! Black's voice said to him.

"Captain Black. What can I do for you?"

Yamato and his friends are closing in on the Eclipse! Judging by their speed, they'll be on us in a matter of minutes.

"How is that possible?" Supreme's shock was evident.

Dragonflies, sir. What is your command?

"I'll take it up with Daisaku. In the meantime, hold them off."

Will do. James, out.

Connection was terminated.

"What is it, Supreme?" Daisaku asked.

"Captain James just told me that Yamato and his allies are pursuing us with Dragonflies." Supreme sighed.

Damn it! Green thought, narrowing his eyebrows. Why can't they just stay out of danger? Why must I keep fighting them?

"Let them come. If they continue to interfere, we'll just have to defeat them to prove our point." Daisaku then pressed his communicator, to broadcast to all the Captains. "Force them to dock on the main strip. Line up in order, Lieutenant Eddie first, Captain Pink, Lieutenant Nero, Captain Orange, then Captain Black. For the last line of defense, Captain Green will be waiting near the door. I will contact you all when the revival is complete."

Daisaku released his communicator.

"We wouldn't need to fight them, if they weren't getting in our way." Daisaku grumbled, sensing Green's tension.

"I understand, Admiral." Green nodded.

"You are dismissed. Get to your post, and I'll contact you when it's time for the revival."

"Very well." Green saluted.

"Best of luck, Captain."

Green ran out of the room.

"Now, Supreme." Daisaku looked at him. "I'm going to teach you how to channel the power of Satarage into you..."

Green is getting is hard from his sister Daisaku, is jut an emotional beat down.
That was odd with the Ghost and, and the sun and the moon are an illusions! Holy crap man. Another thing I like to point out is that if Daisaku reprogrammed a Seven Force, so the moment the user synched with it he had control of the user body sort like mechanical-marionette, he should use in Green and then in the moment Green would had dough transfer the energies from Supreme into Green and make Green violently attack his friend, that definitely make him evil!
