Sensing the small inner voice was about to speak, Nogard imagined it gagged, bound, and locked away in a far corner of her mind where she could not hear it.
"COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!" Nogard called gleefully.
Before she could take another step...Nogard stopped and grabbed her stomach. Something was wrong.
Falling to a knee, Nogard squeezed her eyes shut. The pain emanating from her stomach was unbearable. It felt like something was forcing her into a smaller and smaller form. Rolling onto her back, Nogard roared with pain as she began to transform.
