An Outline of Literature
11/4/07
A time and place are attributes
Of every perfect tale.
A love and hate relationship
Will end in pure betrayal.
It’s true that the main climax shall
Occur right near the end;
But mystery and conflicts
Entertain you until then.
An interest and empathy
Help readers to relate;
The sinful hero will contain
All well-known human traits.
A question will be asked in the
Prologue or Chapter One
And leave you there to ponder it
Until the tale is done.
Shocking news and sudden turns
Will make you yearn for more
And fill you with a longing to know
What else is in store.
The villain is the one who has
Committed evil acts;
But chances are the heart that's pure
Has made the deadly pact.
Alas, this paradox is what
Provides the hero’s drive:
And toward the breaking of this seal
Is where this man will strive.
Once there, he will destroy the one
Who bound him to his sins.
And he will kiss the one he loves
And all is well again.
A Confrontation: Memoirs of a Hypocrite
11/4/07
“You say you are strong;
So why do you bend to every will but your own?
You say you are an individual;
So why do you never stand out?
You say you are happy with yourself;
So why are you different every time I see you?
And if you are so numb
Then why are you always in pain?
“You say you don’t mind when someone else takes the lead;
So why is it that you never participate?
And when you are given the lead,
You always have to ask for advice.
You say you want to make something of your life;
So why do you sit quietly in the corner, unnoticed?
Why are you still here?
Why do you still do this to yourself?
You say that you hate hypocrites;
So who am I looking at right now?”
I turn from my own gaze and walk away,
Knowing that this will not be the last confrontation.
Thats all i gots for now, i hope that you liked them! ( ^_^ )
