Mediocrity At It's Finest
These are just random snippets from my mind... enjoy.
NetStar Chronology - Chapter 4
Sometime during the week, Green decided the large room with the long table was to be used for a conference room; just in case they needed to hold a meeting with anyone. Blue was the first one to take advantage of this, though. It was eight in the morning, and he had suffered a night of insomnia. He felt strange, and he kept telling himself it shouldn't be bothering him. But, he knew he needed to get it off his chest, to let his allies know what he really was; before they did anything of importance.

The three of them sat at the table, Blue on one side, Yellow and Green beside each other on the opposite side.

"Why have you called us here, Yamato?" Yellow asked, a little worried. "Is there something on your mind?"

"Yes." Blue sighed. "And to tell you the truth, I didn't think it would bother me. But I have to tell you this one thing about myself, so you can have at least some trust in me."

"Well, what is it?" Green asked.

"It's my past. In the past, I was a valued Captain of The Empire."

Green and Yellow looked at each other, then continued listening.

"I was arguably the most reliable member in their ranks. But, I didn't get there by myself. I had a sister, a twin sister. Her name was Clair Sky. We were always together. When we joined, we were Ghosts in the same unit. We rose to Lieutenant together, and then we eventually became Captains. The only difference between us, aside from her female features, was that I used only energy and wore a bandana, and she used only the spear and wore a scarf."

"Wait a minute." Yellow said. "Is that her scarf which you wear, and her spear which you wield?"

"Yes." Blue nodded.

"But how are you so skilled in the spear?" Green asked. "You said you only used energy."

"That I did. But it was self taught. What fueled me to learn the spear was my desire for revenge."

"What happened?" Yellow rejoined. "What made you change your beliefs so drastically?"

"It was that b*****d James Black." Blue looked at the table. "He made a false story about Clair giving secrets to the Police Force, and told Daisaku. While it was Daisaku who delivered the final blow, James was the one who did the pre-mortem torture."

"But, why would he torture her?" Yellow asked, surprised.

"To make an example to the other Captains." He clenched a fist. "To make sure that we would never betray Daisaku and his cause. The day I left The Empire in secret, I vowed to make James regret the day he messed with my sister. I don't care what you do to Vincent or Athena, but James is mine."

"I can't believe this." Yellow frowned. "How could anyone sink so low?"

"I haven't figured that out." His eyes met hers. "But, I know something is driving Daisaku to change the world. Something must have altered his life drastically, for him to be unwavered by anything that comes his way."

"Well, thank you for finally telling us." She told him.

"So, if you'll excuse me." Blue got up, and turned around.

"Where are you going?" Green asked, standing up as well.

"I'm leaving." He looked at Green. "You probably don't want anything to do with someone who's been a Captain."

"Hold it. You aren't going anywhere. Up until now, you've proven yourself to be beyond your past. You want The Empire destroyed, right?"

"While I am only fighting them for the downfall of James, ultimately, I do want them eliminated."

"That is our intention. We formed this group to remove them. Motives don't matter, as long as our ends would be the same."

"I... never thought about it that way." Blue paused, then gave a small smile. "Well, we should get breakfast, anyway. Thanks, Miyamoto and Charlotte."

Blue walked out of the room.

"Air of charisma." Yellow sang.

"Yeah, yeah... I get it." Green rolled his eyes.

So, Yellow made breakfast, and they all ate. Afterwards, they decided to look for a fourth ally. But, as soon as they left the house, they saw a Ghost cramming something into the ground.

"Hey, you!" Green stepped foreward. "What do you think you are doing?"

"Urk!" The Ghost noticed them.

His image flickered, then disappeared.

"There's something shady going on here." Yellow murmured.

From the ground, where the Ghost had crammed something, a beam of light shot up.

"That was a Gaiesha seed!" Blue yelled.

"What's that?" Green looked at him.

"A Gaiesha is a Giga Virus, in the family of the Hydrasan, Axourus, and Scarlegon." His tone became grim. "While they are the weakest of the four, they are still very powerful and deadly."

The beam disappeared, revealing a plant-like creature. It was ten feet tall, had a black trunk, two eyes, a beak, a garnet in the center of its forehead, four five foot tall leaves around its trunk and hundreds of ankle high leaves beneath those, and a green blossom at the top of its head. It let out a high shriek, and its gem glew.

"What else do you know about them?" Green asked.

"They have the Forest Element. On top of that, they take no damage from Forest; and instead are healed by it. The same goes for Water, but they have a limited threshold for it. For attacks, they can use any of the four vines they have dug into the ground, or even summon spires of wood from the ground. Also, they can use their gems to fire highly concentrated..."

The Gaiesha fired a huge beam at them from its gem at the three. Blue jumped out of the way, Yellow rolled, and Green dove.

"Beams." Blue finished.

"Well, this is great." Green drew his wakazashi. "I'm reduced to my short blade, and I don't know what Charlotte's going to do."

"Forest energy is an Electric Elemented entity's worst nightmare." Yellow frowned. "I can do nothing. Sorry, brother."

"Don't despair." Blue drew his spear. "Ice happens to work very well against Forest."

Four long vines rose out of the ground.

"It knows we're not going to run." Green said. "What's the regeneration rate of those vines?"

"Never severed one." Blue told him. "They're like clashing with another blade. Best to just aim for its weak spot."

Green and Blue deflected two vines each.

"And that would be?" Green asked impatiently.

Blue shot a crystal straight at the Gaiesha's gem. The crystal shattered, and the Gaiesha shrieked loudly.

"The gem." Blue answered.

"Well, I guess I'll have to jump." Green sighed.

Green ran at the Gaiesha and jumped up, ready to strike. But, just as he was entering range, a vine lashed around his feet, and he hung upside down. The Gaiesha then flung him across the ground.

"Agh..." He slowly got up. "That sucked."

While that happened, Blue found himself fighting off all four vines.

"We're not getting anywhere." Green started running again. "Seven Force!!"

Green glew as he ran, and was armed with the armor and weapons of his mech. He then sheathed his wakazashi.

"Whoa..." Yellow stared. "He really was telling the truth."

Green struck the Gaiesha with his right weapon, then left. Since Green was so close, the Gaiesha was able to strike him with its beak. The force sat him down, but he was able to roll out of the way of another peck. He jumped up to avoid a sweeping vine strike, but then found out he was floating.

"Hey, were you hiding that?" Blue just noticed Green.

Green gave Blue a thumbs-up, and flew at the Gaiesha. He was lashed back by two vines, since he wasn't used to the flight control.

Damn. He thought. Maybe I should have practiced, that night.

He dodged a few more strikes, then saw an opening. He did a barrel roll to dodge another vine, and directly struck the gem. The Gaiesha reared its head back and screamed once more, then grabbed Green with all four vines. It heaved him downwards, but Green did a backflip, and managed to land on his feet. The moment his feet touched down, he rocketted forward again. Blue shot the distracted Gaiesha's gem with another crystal, making it shriek again. But, before it could attack, Green had slammed both weapons into its gem. The gem shattered, and the Gaiesha let out one last yell before it slumped its head over. Green floated back, then Seven Force disappeared and Green dropped down to his feet on the ground.

"Hey, you were holding back." Blue said to Green. "In our battles!"

"While it was true that I was holding back my use of the mech, I was using my full natural strength."

"Why? You might have won if you used it."

"That would only boost my ability to use the mech, not my own abilities. This was a life or death situation, so I had no choice but to use it."

"I think I understand, now." Blue nodded.

"That could have turned out worse than it did." Yellow said as she approached them. "But, I'm glad to see you're okay."

"Maybe 'okay' is an overstatement." Green cringed. "Man, those vines stung."

"You might not have been struck so much, if you hadn't attacked so recklessly." Blue shook his head.

"In any case, we should keep moving." Yellow told them.

"And quickly." Blue said. "If The Empire is planting Gaieshas, this area will become really dangerous really fast."

The three of them ran off.

Yes, we finally got to see Seven Force in action and it was good. Poor Clair Sky, she sounded like sweat carrying sister. And however James Black, he needs to die because of what he did to Blue stressed
