Pushed up against the wall,
Pinned down,
You cannot move.
You look into his eyes and hold your breath,
Red.
Blood red.
Breathing heavy,
Panting from exhaustion,
He smiles and shows his teeth.
Fangs,
Sharp fangs.
I thought he was lying,
But now I know the truth.
I'm not afraid of being bitten,
I'm afraid of dying.
He draws closer,
As I hold my breath,
I finally scream.
He runs away,
Tears coming down his face.
I am not afraid of being bitten,
I'm afraid of dying.

As I look up to the moon, black feathers rest upon my head.
I then grow my wings to join them.
I then grow my wings to join them.
