Well in class today, we had to write a simile describing ourselves. I chose to say I was a Rose. I said, Though I have thorns, I can be sweet if you get to know me. After the words left my mouth, my friends looked at me and only smiled slightly. They knew I was right. I didn't care if the others were laughing about how I had a short temper, I knew my friends understood me and knew my sweet side.
