School started on Aug. 22, 2007. This is my first semester in college!! I love it! Although there's a lot more walking to get to class, I also have more independence. I can go to the library and sleep, or do homework. I go to the library at the main campus often because I don't know where else to go when I have time. I go to the rec area between classes at the other campus.
On Mondays (M), Wednesdays (W), and Fridays (F), I have CHE and WRC.
CHE has been a bit of a drag. It's just a lecture the whole fifty minutes of class, and at home we go online to do a few problems on WebCT. She, our teacher, also "suggests" problems from the book, but I haven't really done them. I probably should, but it's just stuff we already know.. We have to memorize metric and English conversions, as well as the Greek system.. forgot what it's called. The really annoying thing is when we have to have the answers exactly right. We have to keep in mind significant figures, decimal places, and scientific notation. If you have one decimal, or number, too many in the answer, it's automatically WRONG. >.>; That gets really annoying..
Anyway, so far in my WRC class, we've done two essays and read several text. Our first writing assignment was basically a two-page biography about how our reading and writing careers have been impacted and developed throughout our lives. I didn't do it at first because I forgot; then, I decided not to anyway because I didn't think our teacher would accept it late. Unfortunately, she did accept the first late. Oh well, nothing I can do now.. >.>;
