So I wake up this morning to my mother chucking the newspaper at me and shouting “Look at what we missed!”
And really, all I could do was grunt in return because whatever Powers there may be know that I am not a morning person. A picture on said newspaper eventually caught my eye so I read.
Wanna know what I read?
I read that I missed the best damn concert ever, and it was barely twenty miles away from my house. Linkin Park played with HIM, Taking Back Sunday, and My Chemical Romance.
I nearly had a stroke when I saw this, and my mom continues to yell, “It’s because you wouldn’t check the schedule! Don’t gimme that look, it’s your fault!”
For those of you who don’t know, my mom has the best taste in music. She loves all those bands plus Flogging Molly, Rammstein (because she knows, like, all the words in their songs), Pink Floyd, etc, etc.
*sigh*
So that is the story on how I missed the best concert ever.
IN OTHER NEWS, at 1 pm today I’m gonna go to get the colors and design for my dance dress!
whee I’m so excited!
Tomorrow I’ll find a picture of my old dress… it’ll probably be a group picture and I’ll probably find it of a 7- year- old me, but ignore the me- ness. Just look at the dress. I don’t want to be humiliated XP
