Imagine hearing that and loosing control of your car at around 110km pe hour. eek So Kirk and I are driving home, just turned onto 401 (a major highway stare from highway 41 (a small a** one) and I hear this noise, loose control and the steering wheel is like vibrating so bad it hurts my hands. I nearly pissed myself but I forced myself to stay calm and somehow I managed to slow down, put on my 4-ways and pull off to the shoulder (the LEFT hand shoulder with cars going 140+ besides me >.> wink . We get out to see what happened as all I can see is the back end off my car hanging off the frame, with a metal piece like sticking out the side. I was shaking SO bad and shitting myself. So I phone me mom (thank god for her LOL) and she’s like get off the highway. At this point I see the metal of the tire…that isn’t good for those of you who don’t drive. See at this point I would have normally changed the tire but I didn’t know if the back end caused the tire to pop or the tire ******** up the back end. So with my 4-ways on I had to drive (going like max 20km an hour on a 100km an hour road) over 2 lanes of heavy traffic to this exit that was near enough to us. Thankfully there was a mall with a Wal-Mart in it. They have this service center thing. So we went there even though I hate Wal-Mart LOL But ya, so this guys says that the tire split...which means the rubber came off the wires of the tire and such and the rubber flew off and hit the frame, cause it to snap off and such. But he replaced the tire and taped together the frame and that got us home. All we need to do now if screw the frame back into place and it’s all good. But I swear it took me a good hour to calm down enough to drive again, and for another hour I was SO nervous. I wasn’t scared about getting hurt cause I WAS in Volvo but unless you’ve had that happen to you, you have NO idea how scary it was eek NEVER again lol
Anyways, that was basically the only bad thing about the whole week. We had AWESOME weather; we went swimming everyday in this beautiful lake. There was a rock maybe 100 feet from our dock and we swam out there like all the time. We also put on goggles and swam around looking at fish and stuff. We played Hot Rum almost everyday with my Grandparents and we watched a s**t load of X-Files (finished season 1) and Starsky and Hutch (finished the 2rd season and almost the 3rd). Along with that we watched Dirty Dancing…which is like a tradition for me at the Cottage – I have watched it EVERY time I go up there ^o^
But ya it was SO much fun. Every night we went out and looked at the stars…SO romantic. Out there you can see so many stars…even more then in Orangeville. There is like no light pollution and you can see SO much. We saw like 4 shooting stars every night. The whole was just me and Kirk and my grandparents. We chilled, swam, walked around and just spent time together. An amazing time folks! lol We took a crap loud of pics which I’ll be uploading to Facebook soon. I’ll put a link on here to the album. So ya I have rambled on enough, talk to you guys later!
