Now I have 40 Cat Facts that I found, that I would like to share with you.
1) Cats have a keen sence of hearing with more than 40,000 nerve fibers in their ears. 2) Before earthquakes and other natural disasters, cats tend to become excited, restless, or fearful. 3) Black cats have long been the subject of superstition. When a black cat crosses your path in the US, it's bad luck, but in Brittain, black cats are typically good luck. 4) Pointed ears signify an attention-hungry cat, while flattened ears indicate a need for solitude. 5) With it's 24 whiskers, a cat can gauge its ability to slip through narrow openings. 6) An upright tail can indicate a relaxed and confident cat, while a puffed out or whipping tail shows a fearful or agitated cat. 7) To get to know other felines, a cat will snif for pheromones, which reveal information about gender, health, and whether or not they've been fixed. 8 ) Keeping cats well fed can help these nocturnal creatures sleep through the night. 9) Seventy percent of a cats day is spent sleeping. 10) A cat's belly button is a flat scar where the umbilical cord connected it to its mother. 11) Soft music can ease cats' anxiety when their owners leave home. 12) Female cats are fully grown at 5 to 8 months of age, while male cats can take 9 to 12 months. 13) A cat's whiskers are divided into upper and lower rows, which move independently of each other. 14) Some dogs are actually afraid of cats and have been known to fet into some interesting predicaments while trying to escape their feline foes. 15) Because a cat's vertebrae are more loosely connected than in other animals, its spine is very flexable. 16) Some coat colors are associated with geender in cats.
