I take another hit

Never thought the world could be like this

So cold and full of anxiety

And yet they still judge me

I take another hit

As a flashback hits

I hear my father scream, "you ******** lil b***h!"

As I take another hit

To try to block out the pain

Even if only for a short while i still have something to gain

Tears stream down my eyes

As I try not to cry

I take another hit

A bottle is smashed over my head

I run to my bed

My father storms in with a shotgun

Drunkly yelling " It's time for you to go hun"

I grab my stuff and jump out the window

I ran to the house of a nice old widdow

As the flashback ends

I tell myself time will mend

And I take another hit
