3nodding Since Im on a school computer, there's not much to do on gaia. The forums are blocked, so i've just been trying to no avail to sell the donation items in the marketplace for guild money.
The market is a bit congested with new donation items though, so im not getting any attention sweatdrop

I've been noticing the trend of donations exploding and increasing as much as they have been the last few months. The sellers in the exchange are peddling 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 letters at a time. That's a lot of letters going out into circulation. It's driving the short term prices of the letters down, theyre sitting at 4-5k for longer. This is true for the November, December, January, Feb, not the March but now the April are so flooded theyre not reaching over 6k .
It's only the 2nd day the April letters have been released, but im already seeing a gross decrease in Wanted and Quest threads for them. They're too abundant, sooner or later the market is going to collapse on itself if the letters are flooding in by the thousands and tens of thousands.
In march I was buying sealed letters for 3.5k each, and had 7 or so when they opened. The items seemed to catch users off guard, and the value of the letters spiked up to 7-8k, and are sitting strong at 8k now. This residual apprehension of a wonderous new donation item sparked the purchase of the newest Aprils. And while the butterfly wings are quite popular, they arent multi-use items. Some of the donation items, like bracelets, gauntlets, and the kitties, can have multiple ones equipped. But not so for this month, that limits an avatar to 1 used at a time. Which definetly effects the short term value if there's no hoarding going on for multiple use.
Chanker's Value Predictions
In the running for 2005, I predict the value rank will maintain as follows through the next few months;
exclaim March 05 holding the top, and will stabalize at 10k
exclaim April holding a 2nd stabalizing at some 8k
exclaim Feb running for a close 2nd stabalizing at 7-8k
exclaim Jan dwarfing at 5k down with the Nov/Dec 04s.
I do have high hopes for the lonely Jan05 though. Demonic and Angelic items always rise. They're some of the most popular items, I can see the Demonic Pendant raising to the stature of Angelic Pendant half a year from now.
