That's right. By virtue of my immense creative faculties, I've deemed this entry the 'new entry.' But the adjective doesn't refer to the entry. I feel new. I have a new job, I have a new school, I have a new laptop! I have old debts that I did not ask for, how I wish they would just go away. I feel like I am hemorrhaging money. It's like being a hemophiliac with chronic nosebleeds. Sometimes it's due to an accident. Sometimes someone gives you a shove. Sometimes, it happens for no God damned reason. But whenever it starts, you know it's going to just keep draining out of you.

At least blood banks don't ask you to give the stuff back.

I know it isn't pretty, but at least I'm on my own. C.S. Lewis says that when you become a christian, the devil is going to try extra hard to get to you. Well, I can honestly say that the world has shown absolutely no leniency on me. I just wish I knew why the devil was so damned interested in taking away my money. On the bright side, God is good. He's protected me again and again, but for how long? Sooner or later I either give up everything I have just to resolve problems I did not cause, or I have to literally force my enemies away. Alba says I have a warped view of the world. It's not me that's warped. Starving yourself and your family to feed the greedy is warped, and it's a man's responsibility to resist. I am beginning my little tale tonight, my dear. I hope when you read it one day, you won't be disappointed with the ending. The story isn't complete until the hero earns the right to live life as he chooses. What I saw today, my love, was that even a man with a plastic name tag can be somebody's hero. That's why I will keep fighting. Please don't think me a for believing in the world as I want it to be. I only want the world to be like the world you deserve. I will build for you a place to have our Happily Ever After.
