Arian the Avian!
"So, Koigo, where did you transfer from," Hono had asked. The two of them stood on the other grounds, away from the girls. This school was prestigious and orderly like that. The girls in the front grounds, the boys in the back. "Uh...." Koigokoro thought for a moment, "I transferred from a really high-class school. Ya know, the ones that you either have to be really smart or really rich to get into? My parents just lost their jobs and they didn't have the money to pay for it anymore." He looked up at the sky and someone caught his eye. He turned and looked down at Hono, who was half his size. "Do you know who that is?" Hono stared. He felt a small pulse in his hand, telling him that this person was another from the other world. However, he shook his head, "Never seen him."
Ookami leaned on a tree with Tsumi and Aiko in front of her. "Why do we have to be separated? That doesn't make that much sense if you ask me," Ookami scowled. She crossed her arms and looked up at the sky. "It's the rules. Sorry, Ookami, it's just how things are around here," Tsumi tried to explain. Aiko she sighed and thought to herself. She looked around at all of the other girls huddled into their groups, "Well, consider it social hour!" The three of them laughed, but Ookami stopped quickly feeling a pulse in her hand. Because it was a bigger pulse than Hono's, it meant that someone from one of her clans was here. To her, that meant trouble.
It was finally lunch. Ookami, Tsumi, Aiko, Hono, and Koigokoro all sat at the same table again. "There's another new student," Ookami said, eating a spoonful of the mystery food they served, only to spit it right back out. Aiko laughed, "Yea I know. I saw him in my second period. The teacher yelled at him for not wearing the uniform jacket." "Yea and he was in my first period. All of the girls were goggle-eyed on him," Ookami smiled a bit and looked around, "And he's right over there." She pointed with her fork at a table that had the so-called "popular" kids at it. "Well, at least he fit in pretty well," Hono said. Ookami glared at him and he nodded. Tsumi and Aiko looked confused, but ignored it. Koigokoro stood. "I'm just gonna see how great this guy really is."
The bell rang for the next period. Tsumi had this class with Ookami. She also noticed that the new kid was in this class, too. He sat down next to Ookami and, being the talkative person she was, she started talking to him. Tsumi had noticed her eyes had changed color slightly, and they had. Ookami could clearly see the mark on his hand once she focused her eyes the right way. She sighed and kept talking to him. "Oh, really? Well, I'm Ookami! Nice to meet you...oh was it..Arian?" She smiled at him and went to the assignment the teacher had written.
Koigokoro had a class with him next. He noticed that, no matter how hard the girls tried, he wouldn't give in to them. "Guess he's one of the hard-to-get ones. The girls will be ALL over him," he whispered to himself. Once the girls finally left, Koigokoro stood up and leaned against the wall next to him. "Hey, tough first day?" "Nah, I'm fine..." Arian leaned back on his desk. "I'm Koigo by the way." Arian nodded, "I'll be sure to remember that. I'm Arian."
"His name is Arian.....and yes he is from the other world," Ookami had said when it was just Tsumi, Hono, and herself. "I could tell by his marks. He's a flier, and a damn good hider of his wings!" She laughed. Tsumi let out a breath, "Well, should we befriend him or just leave him alone?" Hono raised and lowered one shoulder. However, Arian was flying just over-head of them and he caught on quick to their conversation. He banked off and headed towards his home.
