I knew a guy in 7th grade. I had a crush on him. We would play around before class started. I started to fall in love with him. I wrote on a piece of paper, “Do you like someone? Be honest.” Before I was even done, he grabbed paper and read it. He looked away as he gave it back and I erased it. We still lay around before class. Sometimes I would rest my head on his shoulders, but he doesn’t care. We went on a school field trip to the museum. He copied my paper even if I would get them wrong. He just says that he doesn’t care. After that we go to the park, spend two hours there. He sits with one of my friend David. There were talking about girls when I approached them. I sit down and listen to them talk about girls when I am there. David was a bit angry that the guy I like, likes a girl that David hates. My heart was broke when I heard that news. It has been three weeks since he and she hooked up and nobody told me anything. I guess my heart will mend, but not fully. Love has a different course for me to follow. Love is a battlefield, so I have to fight for love.
