MAID OF THE MIST - WEEK 28 - 2007
Tending to the cascading waterfalls, she walks unseen. Her gentle footsteps upon the water's surface leave nothing more than frothy foam, as she waves her hand, lifing a thin veil of mist from the roaring waters. The droplets of water rise towards the sky, settling on her hair, shining like brilliant diamonds. She is one with the water, an element in her own right, she is the maid of the mist.

THE TOOTH FAIRY - WEEK 31 - 2007
Oh dear me, it looks like I’ve been caught in the midst of my work. My feathered companions were just giving me word that footsteps were near too! I would love to stay and chat, but I should carry on with my work. I have a purse full of coins and many more pillows to peek under before the night fades away any further. Actually, looking at my watch, the night has indeed grown long, so I must be on my way!

FIRE RAPTOR - WEEK 32 - 2007
On the fifth day into our expedition of an uncharted island in the South Pacific, we came across the most amazing creature I have yet to set eyes upon. In the dense forest jungles of this island we discovered a new species which I have called the 'fire raptor'. These half reptilian and half humanoid creatures dress in clothing fashioned from the flora and grasses native to the land. Their wings and tails appear to be of pure fire, and their stare a golden gaze. Many have also been seen wearing gold jewelry adorned with bits of jade and coral. A fascinating new discovery indeed.
