There's a forbidden fruit in me,
One that grows from lust,
and flourishes with the flame of desire,
Eats away at all my good sense,
And it makes me want you,
My vines seep from my pores,
Breaking my skin,
They reach from me,
Sinisterly,
So feverish a sickness,
I want you,
Like the tides need the ocean,
and like the night sky needs the moon,
But I do not love you,
and I do not know you,
and I do not see you,
But your eyes haunt my dreams,
and they haunt my life,
and they see right through me,
Yet another apple in my eye,
Dare to pick it,
I don't want you anymore.
