Gliding streams of silver, dancing with him, far away…
Embers flickering,
I miss I could remember,
Yet I want to forget the night…
The night I spent in his arms.
I wish I could touch his face,
See his eyes once more,
Ride alongside across the silver fields,
Snow and ice I haven’t seen since.
That world has been lost to me,
I can’t remember, and I can’t forget.
We danced gracefully,
He and I.
Dimness in my world,
Yet it yearns to remember,
While I yearn to forget…

- I like this poem, not perfect, and not awe inspiring, but I like it. I normally do not like poems such as this, but this one feels unique, in a way. I feel it gets a bit repetitive, but is a solid effort. 3.25/5.
