- As you go around in your life, you experience different "friendships" which shape you and define you. As time goes on, you look back and think about your old friends and you may realize different things about them. Some may be the people who were always there for you, or other may be the fun people who you always hung around but didn't really like, but you see who were your real friends as well as you fake ones. As you examine your past, take notes and decide who you want to be. Surround yourself by people who care about you and you are bound to succeed.

- only a handful of friendships last a lifetime, but this does not mean the rest were insincere. instead, the relationship could be seen as 'fake', since it may not be based around any common interest.

success is subjective, meaning a content low-paid laborer succeeded in what he/she set out to do. are goals - product & purpose of self, or a trophy to show the world?
lastly, people are (within limits) dynamic. the major elements of a personality may not change dramatically each year, but the relationships built off these factors do change. when individuals no longer have a common thread, this is often misunderstood. - Report As Spam
