• When Knight woke up he got dressed to leave for 'work' again.
    I had the breifcase on the table in the kitchen waiting for him.
    He smiled at it when he walked into the room. "Finished already?"
    I nodded and leaned against the table. "Yep. Now you have to leave me alone for two days."
    He sighed. "Oh yeah... That... Fine." He said walking to the fridge and taking out a blood bag. "But we can still fool around, right?"
    "Only if I want to." I say looking down at my sharp and long red painted nails.
    He chuckled and closed the fridge door. "Okay." He bit into the bag. "Do you want to right now?"
    I shook my head. "Nope."
    He took a step closer and swallowed a drink of the blood. "How about now?"
    "No."
    He took three steps closer, only a few feet from me. "Now?"
    "No."
    He reached out and put his hand on my chin, taking away the space between us and pushing our bodies together. "Now?"
    I thought about it for a second and then shook my head. "No."
    He sighed. "Your so stubborn."
    I smiled. "I know."
    He kissed my forehead softly and put his arms around my waist. "Is there anyway I can make it so you do want to mess around?"
    I shrugged. "I don't know..."
    He smiled. "Are you trying to make me chase you?"
    I smiled. "Maybe."
    He began rocking us back and forth. "Well maybe after I get back from work I'll chase you till morning comes."
    I grinned. "Really?"
    He nodded and leaned down, only inches from my lips. "Yes."
    A loud crash came from behind me.
    I jumped and spun around to face the door.
    Knight chuckled and put his hands on my hips. "I knew it would work." He whispered putting his head on my shoulder and starting to take off my pants.
    I gasped, but didn't reject him. "You cheater!"
    "There were rules?" He laughed.
    I sighed. "Fine. Just once. But then you have to go."
    He nodded and kissed my neck. "I know."

    After he was gone I went into the living room and looked out the window, just watching humans go about their nightly bussines. They couldn't see me and they couldn't hear me, so when someone that looked like someone I could tease easily went by I would yell at them and call them names.
    "What are you doing?" Asks a husky voice from behind me.
    I turned around and saw the Shinigame that would drop by at random times looking at me like I was crazy. "Oh. Just yelling at people since I have nothing better to do."
    He laughed. "You are so odd." He teased.
    I glared at him. "Shut up."
    He grinned, revealing his rotten sharp teeth. "Oh, come on. Can't take a joke?"
    I sighed. "Whatever. I'll let it go. Now what do you want?"
    He chuckled. "Didn't you know? Your time here is almost up. You only have fifty more names to go."
    I jumped. "What? Really?"
    He grinned again. "Yeah. Your really lucky. I guess your boyfriend has really been putting you to work for him, huh?"
    I nodded. "I guess so."
    A part of me was excited about me being able to leave and finally get some rest. But another was sicker then a cancer patient. I didn't want to leave Knight all alone. I would miss him and his perverted ego.
    He spread his wings and began floating around the room. "Yeah. I've had people stuck on this rock for over a hundred years because they were too chicken to take a person's life. I mean, come on. It's either them or you, right?" He says laughing.
    I nodded. "Yeah..."
    He sighed. "Well, I talked to the boss and he said that you can go early if you want. You did so well on your killings that you beat this others guys record so far. I think his names Yagami or something... I don't know. I don't even know the guy... But someone else keeps talking about him up there... Whatever. You've done really well. So are you going to put the book down early or just keep going?"
    I smiled. "I'll keep going."
    He grinned. "I like you. Your so dark and evil. It's awesome." He laughed.

    After he left I was alone again, but not for long.
    Knight came home and sighed. "I don't feel well..." He complained sitting down on the sofa.
    I glared at him. "I thought we were going to do something."
    He shook his head and put his hand on his chest. "No. I don't feel good. I think I drank the wrong type of blood or something." He said swallowing.
    I sighed. "Fine. Do you want a blood bag to wash the bad blood down or something?"
    He nodded and smirked. "Yes. That would be very sweet of you to get that for me."
    I nodded and walked into the kitchen. "Yeah, yeah. Perverted little bat." I grabbed the blood bag and walked back in the room. "Here you go-."
    Knight was sitting in the chair, his chest not moving, his eyes closed and the date over his head was expired.
    I dropped the bag on the floor and ran to his side. "Valentine!?"
    No response.
    I shook his cold body. "Knock it off and wake up!" I spit.
    Nothing.
    I growled and threw open his breif case, looking through everything. Trying to find something that would tell me who could have killed him. I was heart broken and angery. I was going to find the person that killed Knight and then take my revenge out on them by making their own death horrible.
    Picking up the peices of paper I used my special eyes to see which names seemed to glow, the names that glowed had the power of a shinigame, or had a pet Shinigame.
    After going through a few small piles of paper I found one.
    I glared at the name. "Light Yagami." I hiss the name. "Your dead."
    My heart hurt and tears formed in my eyes. I was going to have this man finished off. That's a promise.

    {Sorry the ending of this story really sucks and there was little yaoi in it. I just got really bored with it... Forgive me.}
