Chapter 2 : New Regime
I can't believe that kid actually endured this far.
Red flames flickered in the walls of the shrine were the Dark Lord awaited impatiently.
Suddenly a blast of purple flames came from the floor in the corner of the shrine.
When the flames died down, the body of Zero was left in its place.
Welcome little 'Knight' *snickers*
I don't know what you mean by 'knight'..but I don't care..
All I know is that you will pay for trying to harm my friends.
Haha..of course of course, surely you don't want to understand what is happening here? I mean, you have not a lot of choices you have to~
A flash of clear white illuminated the whole room and went right trough the Lord's body, tearing his whole top left side. Trough the open wound blood didn’t rush though, in its place darkness fizzled and ‘poured’ to the ground.
Unbelievable..
The lord muttered with a shocked, yet amused look on his face, as his body fell motionless to the ground.
What the heck was that?..he's already dead?
Zero cautiously walked forward, not for an instant un-gripping his gun.
As he was a few steps of the lord's body, it exploded into shadows, and the darkness spread trough the room.
What is going on you creep!?
A booming voice coming from every side of the room replied.
You didn't really think I'd die so easily did you?
I have to admit..you destroying my first body like that was impressive.
First body?..Where are you?!..show yourself!
I can't..or else you wouldn't let me explain..or would you?..
*humph*..hurry it up then..

You see as a 'Dark Lord' I require sacrifices, and so, every few years I look for those sacrifices in the human world. The only problem is that, by taking a sacrifice, a 'knight' is bound to try and save them.
I guess you could see where this is going?
So..what?..I'm that "knight"?
HAHA..Well you don't really fit the profile of a knight
But you do seem willing to sacrifice yourself for your loved one *laughs*
That I do..*takes a defensive stance*..

The shadows that were covering the room gather in front of Zero and a silhouette formed from the cloud walking towards him.
I believe this is all you need to know, before dying. *laughs maniacally*
The silhouette takes form of a young looking man with long white hair

THIS would be my second body. I have four bodies in total, not that you will get to see them, because here is where you die..*smirks*
Tendrils shoot from the Lord's back towards Zero..
