Flashback on my grandparents and the little stuff i have left of them and the surprising ending that made my face turn red in shocked way. year is 1979 my mom just graduated from highschool and my grandpa (moms side.) just died of cancer from smoking. jumping some years the year is now 1990 i was born and in 1992 my grandpa on my dads side just died of old age. The only thing i have left of both of them is old photographs from both of them and for my grandpa on my mom side a hat and old collectible toy cannons and swords and pendants from a war.. my grandma says he collected all that stuff and now its all sitting in a really old, noisy attic that hasnt been updated since 1980's. when it rains the floor is covered in muddy water from the old dusty window and all thats there is a black and white old fashioned t.v. and really uncomfortable sofa along with my grandpas stuff on my moms side.. now on my dads side the pictures are unknown on where they are now well atleast most of them. my grandma gave the pictures either to one of her 3 daughters or one of her 2 sons( not including my dad)because at the time she was moving somewhere closer to all of her children and now grand children. well now in 2005 my grandma (LaVerne-dads side) is not that bright but she still shows that she cares for everyone even though sometimes its a pretty bad job but we all know she tries. my Grandma (Joan-moms side) last weekend actually showed some emotion towards me of caring. it seemed like she never really cared about me her other grand kids or my brother for that matter. Well last weekend i was climbing a steep rocky cliff with my aunt and joan was to afraid to go with us but the whole time we were climbing Joan was biting her nails becuz she was afraid we would fall and die a painful death even though it was real easy climbing. when me and my aunt climb baxck down joan actually hugged me and told me she was glad i was ok. i was like "WTF?? YOU ACTUALLY CARE THAT I EXIST?? OMG!!" after all theese years i tried to make her happy by asking how she was doing and stuff like that while my brother and her other grandchildren just diddnt care they were just desperate to get out of her house becuz it was so boring. 	awwwwww thats awsomw that ur grandma (momma side) cares lol yeah grandma (my momma and ur dadda side) she was over at our house anyway my mom always makes this one totally lame joke about our cat itchy see itchy has a black spot on his nose so everytime my mom holds him she always says "oh itchy ya got something on your nose!!!" and acts like shes whipeing away the spot with her hand. but that one day that grandma came to vist my mom said "oh itchy ya got something on your nose!!!" and grandma acually got up and grabbed a tissue to whipe the spot off !!! it was so hilarious me and my mom burst out laughing Offline plumpfuji · Community Member · Sat Apr 02, 2005 @ 02:35pm
