haiku after a poetry reading at a bar.
The one I said there:
'SHE' (Haiku) c 2005 *READ FOR POETRY READING NIGHT SCHOOL 13 May 05 & A BAR -published in lit. mag.
Her intelligence Outshines her beauty but not Determination.
--------------- I said my haiku backwards, then re-said it. They said it sounded good either way.
And when I explained I was just nervous this loud drunk lady shouted: "IT'S OKAY I'M DRUNK!" thus the haiku.
I wrote a haiku I went on stage and she said That's okay I'm drunk!

Spontaneous rhyme of image c 22 Apr 05
Handsome scars streak my face Blood souls reap truth Tree trunks shelter dead hopes Down under is the highest truth Liquid flames boild blood Laughter scoffs my hurt eyes The forest flies like thunder claps The shade darkens shelves of my mind Dust clutters my thoughts The true heart beats to death My happy place destroys her Music rings as rocks fall My blanket waist pins my thoughts Every step forces you down my throat The quickly clicking of my rolling Colors fade and you desert me Surrounded in a field of bees. ________________________________________________
