the owner of my day care never comes in, so my only supervision is, well, my supervisor.
she has even less experience than i do, but got the job because of a degree in early childhood.
my main motivation to get at least an A.S. is just to be free of her.
she spends all her time talking to her two friends who are wither on the phone or visiting. she ognores the kids completely.
i feel they need attention. after all, in a way, they are our clients. if not for them, we would not have jobs.
so i get down on the floor with them and interact. i have years of experience, and i know some developmental games, and what the kids need from an adult.
she yells at me. "get up! that's not your job!"
what am i here for then, just changing diapers? that's not what our brochure says.
it's a good thing i love the kids, because the pay and the adulkt interaction are not worth it. stressed
