Inflation
On gaia, you cant seem to enter a forum, for the most part, without at least hearing some little hint about inflation. The old users, of course, seem to benifit from it; why shouldnt they? They earnet their gold and items, after all, they've been here since the beginning. The newer users complain, quite rightly, that it has become impossiable to achieve some of the older items.
However, my main problem with inflation is this.
For instance, my goal of getting a nitemare scarf. I offer Horns of the demon (300k+) and 585k pure (total of 885k) for a scarf. I get told this is "Way, way low" and that the horns are inflated.
Think; if the horns are inflated at 300k, how much is the scarf inflated at 930-1100k?
How can users refuse to accept item offers because the items you offer are 'inflated' and yet still expect you to pay the over-inflated price of their items?
