You guys don't understand: that Captain America hoodie I now own on Gaia? It took me YEARS to finally buckle down to save gold. See, the creator of that item? She asked for 1TRIL gold when I asked her YEARS ago and like a dumbass, I said no and have regretted it ever since.
The doll was sitting on my Wishlist for years, and every chance I saw one in the Marketplace, it was always out of my reach. And the people selling were definitely NOT hagglers or definitely would not sell at a cheaper price than the AI'ed version. Until last night. One of the Original Collaborators on that hoodie had a copy. I literally bought their other hoodies from them directly too: they have a Winter Soldier hoodie and an Ironman hoodie. I got those items stupid cheap from said creator YEARS ago.
1TRIL gold is nothing on Gaia anymore. Not after what we've been through. So, I struggled to not over-buy s**t because I really needed this gold. I first offered the original creator, the one I rejected, 5TRIL...and then she rejected me. Then I was like "Duh, Cindy! 5TRIL is way too low" and I even told her if she didn't have any more copies or if she thought it was too low, don't even bother replying. She never did.
The Collaborator was kind enough to accept my offer of 8TRIL despite I was originally going to offer 10TRIL. The current AI market sale? 50TRIL. The Collaborator accepted 8TRIL and because I also have a doll about to come out later this year, it's also a recolor: someone made a Toothless hoodie and I got permission to recolor it as a Light Fury hoodie, that settled the deal of the Collaborator accepting only 8TRIL. So, said Collaborator accepted 8TRIL and a copy of my Light Fury hoodie that's it. That's all it took.
The Collaborator I had purchased from years ago granted my wish to complete my set of hoodies: Winter Soldier, Ironman and NOW, finally after all these years, Captain America too. I am so Blessed that this person was kind enough to sell me the final doll despite they were trying to hit up the AI price as well. I DM'ed them and they accepted my offer.
My long journey to collect Avengers hoodies has finally come to a close. Captain America's was the last hoodie I needed to complete my collection. I am so happy right now you don't understand. I don't even care if my gold got depleted, I finally got one of my few sought-out items on Gaia. Judge me if you want, but, I really needed this.
