Dislike: Cats. They're the bastards of the animal kingdom. She also dislikes when people don't get that something "really is quite ugly", and when people think they're tougher than her.

Powers:
~Cannibalize: If she consumes living flesh, she gains insight to the actions of those around her, heightening her reaction timing. Commonly used once the battle starts, as she rushes in and quickly slashes the enemy in passing. While they are stunned, she licks clean the blade.
~Night Surgeon: An incredibly precise jab towards one's kidney (Or other vital organs) made with a wicked serrated bayonet while the enemy is unaware or unable to defend themselves. Potentially fatal if the victim is badly made internally. Or well made, for that matter.
~Nine Fingers: Her lost blood forms a powerful katana, capable of sliding through even the strongest of metals with the ease of a hot knife through already partially melted butter that I accidentally left out on the counter when I went to Arnhem that one weekend.. -ahem- Dual wields it with her own katana, or whatever else she has on hand.
~Yakuza's Thumb: Her own sort of anti-bushido rage mode. She cleaves men in half and ignores physical harm, though it is received. Entered only in dire situations when it looks like she's gonna lose the fight. Damage sustained during her berserk stage is significantly lower, but she can be killed if she receives enough.
~Close Combat: Intercepts all incoming projectiles and deflects, parries, or dispels them on contact with her sword(s). Jumps in close after, generally trying to stun her attacker or lay them out with a quick and painful attack using whatever means she feels suitable.

Personality: "Thriving on the dismay of others" (Her words), she's the sort frequently found shaking people down for money. If she corners you, just let whatever happens happen, as she does not take well to opposition.

Background Information
Edit was born when a convict fashioned himself a crude blade (Her!) from the handle of a spoon whilst in his new prison cell for the purpose of 'shanking' the toughest man he saw. For sixteen years, it served him well. On the eve of his seventeenth consecutive year, there was a massive riot, during which he stabbed a guard in the spine, breaking the honed, yet brittle spoon stiletto. As he turned to slash his next victim, he failed to notice the fact and was promptly beaten to death by security guards with truncheons. Upon his and the blade's death, Edit's spirit was released and titled herself as such. Through the cunning gained from being the tool of a man used to eluding danger in a place with no where to run, she made a quiet escape while the prison fell.
Since her evasion, she's chosen to cope with her new world and make the best of it. For some reason that I haven't quite figured out yet, she decided that way was school. She harbors no grudge against the men that did in her creator, but if she were to meet one in person, she would no doubt cut him down with cruel swiftness like none could imagine. She'd ******** scalp his a** and take his hands as a prize, no doubt showing them off to all her classmates, despite any protests.
Edi is young with endless thirst for power, but not in the usual villains sense where they supercharge themselves with the heat-death of the sun, but a more conventional power, in that she want's to be a boss yakuza. Her actions are those of one who strives to win. They are dirty, quick, and brutal, but highly effective. Through reputation, she has earned herself the nickname, "The b*****d Samurai."
