People who wear eyeglasses (maybe even those that wear contacts) are going to have a very hard time in a zombie apocalypse. Any one who wears glasses already knows how much of a annoyance it is and those who say otherwise are lying. I get annoy whenever there’s a smear on the lens or how I can’t wear shades when the sun is in my face (and transition lens don’t really help as much with that). So imagine all those annoyances doubling when you have to be careful in a zombie infested world.
Or worst you lose your glasses, maybe even break them. It’s going to be difficult to find eyeglasses in your prescription sitting around a optician. Your best bet is to keep your old pair of glasses (no matter if the prescription isn’t as strong as you would like…it’s better than being almost blind) just in case your new ones become damage beyond repair.
But anyone who wears glasses would want to avoid that in the first place and to do that, I recommend getting yourself eyeglass protector safety glasses or eyeglass protector goggles. Eyeglass protectors are specifically design to wear over your eyeglass. So you don’t have to worry about zombie blood and gore messing up your actual glasses or getting them scratch.
Of course, life would be much easier without the need of glasses, especially for a zombie apocalypse. It would be less to worry about.
