You know what’s annoying? When you’re scrolling through a tracked tag on Tumblr and you come across a post that has nothing to do with the tag. Absolutely nothing. What is even worst is when the post is something disgusting.
Just yesterday I was looking at the Devil May Cry tag and saw something absolutely nasty. That nasty image had nothing to do with the tag. So I don’t know why the hell someone would tag it as that. My guess was that it was for shits-and-giggles knowing that the image would burn people’s eyes. Ugh, it was disgusting.
Now that I have Tumblr Savior I can avoid stuff I don’t want to see. It’s working real great and I’m not having any problems with it hiding the wrong things. However, it’s not 100% fool proof. There are people on Tumblr who don’t tag their s**t properly or they don’t tag anything at all. So their posts will slip through, no matter how much I wish Tumblr Savior could magically block them somehow.
I want to save people the trouble of seeing things they don’t want on my blog, especially if they want to follow me. It’s one of the reasons why I tag all my posts. It makes it easier for them and for anyone else using Tumblr Savior to navigate the site. So yeah, I’m doing my best to make my Tumblr experience and others Tumblr experience better.
