Staring in the face of condemnation- Laughter fills the sky instead of rain. Crucified and left in isolation-
Yvv spotted the assassin dead ahead and slammed the close quarters AC to a halt and launched it through an alleyway to her left, approximately thirty meters from her target. Out of sight in the dark gap between buildings, she activated a weak therm-opti-... ... ...
(What's going on..? What just happened? -tap tap tap- Well, it would appear the world has stopped, save for you the reader, and I, the author/narrator.. Well, I suppose this is a good time to explain the machine that our dear Yvv is currently piloting, as I may have been rather vague about it in my brief description earlier. At the moment, Yvv is at the controls of the Type 744 Mass Production CQC Armored Core, as made by Palisade Arms so she doesn't wreck some million dollar mech for no reason whatsoever. It stands at roughly ten feet from foot to head and has the appearance of a Russian Hind helicopter that had it's tail and wings removed, then a pair of slender legs and arms added, all with very rounded edges giving it a sleek and high-tech look. The torso protrudes to the front and back somewhat so as to hold it's occupant and the considerable technology that makes it effective. A group of red lenses and black portholes on the torso's underside mark it's 'eyes and ears' through small sensors, radars, and cameras for three-sixty monitoring and frontal/peripheral vision in the otherwise sealed cockpit. It's it's back has a small set of conical jet thrusters that swivel and pivot to allow the AC to change direction quickly while boosting. The legs seem more as if they would be attached to some jet airplane for how streamlined they are. The fronts are simple metal plates that taper down to sharp edges and hide two pairs of boosters above the calves around back. The arms are built in a similar fashion to the legs, but each with a set of two shoulder-set missile pods and lacking the legs' boosters. The hands are completely anatomical save for incredibly sharp tips on the fingers. More aesthetic than anything, but they're been known to mortally wound troops protected even by battle armour. It is equipped with a pair of experimental M.I.R.V.s in the shoulders that fire three missiles at a time, each separating into eight smaller bombs that each lock on to individual targets and carpet the area for a high mortality rate against large groups. Against a solo entity, they will simply explode in the enemy's direction and scatter around them. The AC also has a smoke-screen dispenser for hopefully obvious reasons and a weak Therm-Optic camo generator that is quite effective at range, but up close is considerable less effective, due to a visible outline of the machine and the noticeable heat waves around it. For it's main line of assault and protection (Besides it's armor, of course), it carries a large Moonlight energy sword, a weapon resembling a cleaver with a heavy crescent in the blade. Although it is a solid weapon for the most part and devilishly sharp on it's own, it is fitted with a wickedly powerful energy generator that focuses along the edge, giving it unparalleled destructive capability. And oh, look! The world appears to be catching up with itself! What perfect timing, if I mat say so myself! -tap tap tap- It seems time will be resuming in three.. Two.. One.. Now!)
-Pictures of our lost morality. Eyeless stares invite this whole damnation- Rotting corpse of inhumanity.
