Please contain yourself when people insult what you love and/or have an opinion that you don't agree with, even if they are rude about it. Be the better person by not being rude back or attacking them for their different taste and opinion. Really, there is a difference between politely discussing things to know why they disagree and calling them names. Why am I bringing this up? It's because I'm honesty tired of all the fan girls comments about how we're all crazy (not the good kind either), that we attack anyone that dislikes or hates the show (or a fan pairing), that we're incapable of being polite and incapable of forming proper sentences. It's unfair that there are people who group us all as obnoxious crazy fangirls, just because we have a few bad apples that don't have manners and respect. It's horrible that they judge us all like that, but it wouldn't be a problem if there weren't any fans that acted that way in the first place, to give them a reason to judge. I hope that fellow fans will read this and keep in mind to contain themselves. After all, each and every one of us is a representative of Supernatural's fandom. If people see that we're well-manner -- not crazy, they would have nothing negative to say about us. As for those that do judge us all as the same, please stop pigeon-holing every female who likes this show into that "crazy fangirl" category. It's close-minded and frankly unfair to those of us who are fans of the show and just happen to be, yes, girls. Now I do agree that there are some who are pretty rabid and pathetically driven by their need to have good-looking leading men as opposed to quality storylines or anything deeper than how hot the guys are. And yes, that aspect really saddens me. But that's just a handful of the show's viewers. You can't let a couple hundred obsessive girls represent the millions of viewers of this show. Plus keep in mind, that in every fandom, especially in Supernatural, there's a large number of us that are intelligent, well spoken and not simply into the show just for the eye candy like I mention above. Bottom line: Don't insult an entire gender by assuming that everyone who is a fan of this show has a Jensen or Jared or Misha life-sized poster hanging over their bed. Or that all of us fans, are absolutely crazy that we would shank you with holy water in the bung hole, if you so dare as to say something negative about it.
