Well I guess its about time I put this event in here. Lmfao oh well if someone else reads this. Well I dont wana go back farther than the point I asked her to the dance.
On the Seventh of March during Bio-tech class I asked Ashley ... to prom. I was helping her with an assignment and the moment was perfect to just lean over and ask her. Well the class had finished and she had borrowed a pencil from me so she returned it. I noticed there was something on it so I only assumed it wasn't mine so I left it there. That night I was nervous as H... trying to figure out if she was going to say yes. So I decided to ask her I couldn't find her on msn so I got onto www.myspace.com and found her on there and messaged her. She got the message and she told me she already said yes. I felt really stupid for not noticing the pencil. We talked about what we were going to do on msn for the next while we were either planning on going alone or going with a group of friends that I didn't know. I made her decide she choose to go with her friends so she would feel more comfortable I didn't really care because I wasn't paying out of my pocket for prom biggrin . March 11th we went over to her friends house to talk about prom. Jared and his friend were busy playing halo 2 when we got there. We talked about how it was going to work out. We were going to go swing dancing at 7:30. Around 6:30 After discussing Ashley friend called and asked her if she could come pick her up and take her home. After 30 minutes I was worried about where she was so I called and found out she was down near University of Utah. Lost and she couldn't find her way home after a while about 8:30 she shows up and ready to go. We try to get Jared to come dancing with us but he declines multiple times. We head off dancing away for the night. We were too late for lessons so we learned from her other friends Joey and Amanda. It was a short but fun time while I was there most the time just watching. March 12th rolls around and its prom day YIPEE!!! I get up at 8 and get dressed to do our day activity. At 9:00 I call Ashley and find out if she is coming to pick me up to go to Jared's house to cook breakfast. She had forgotten what time to be over there so she gets ready and came over. After arriving she and all the other girls go downstairs and play DDR while we get ready to cook(we didn't want them to watch us mess up). Everything that could go wrong did razz but all said and done we bugged the girls pretending that we had broken things, burnt our fingers, and hurt ourselves. The eating part was good then it was on to go to do something for a few hours of entertainment. We had decided to either a. go to Some Dudes Playground(SDP) b. Watch a movie c. Split up and do our own thing. After cheating on the flip of the coin we decided to go to SDP and Ashley noticed a kid in a clown suit and is afraid(kinda funny but oh well). None of the girls had really wanted to go do this but we didnt' have enough time to go watch a movie. After talking for a while we went to Mulligans to go golfing. It was just for fun we weren't really being competitive. I noticed Crump and Steven doing the same thing with there dates. At 1:00 PM Ashley had to go home to help her grandmother with someting and I had to get a tux fitted for the upcoming wedding. At 3:00 PM my parents come home and I had been waiting for them. They had gone to fit their tux for the wedding without me. I try on my tux for prom and get all ready when my mom mentions that I needed a bootaneer(dunno how to spell(rose to go on mans tux)) and guessing that Ashley didn't get one I asked her just to double check. She hadn't so me and my mom rush over to Harmons and grab some roses and flowers to make a home-maid one. Im just glad she knew how to make them. After getting ready to go me and my parents hurry over to Jared house at 5:15 almost running late. I get there at around 5:30 to see the Limo pull up at the door step. My parents tagged along to get pictures of me and Ashley also the limo that we were in. Jesse's girlfriend was already over because her house was too far away from the destination. We show up at Ashleys door step and her whole family is out on the front doorstep and in the doorway staring at the limo. I go up and bring the corsage(another thing spelled wrong) and the bootaneer she had a big problem trying to pin the bootaneer on me she coudln't get the pin to go threw it and my jacket, I was afraid that when it went threw I would really know because it would be jabbed into my chest. I pulled out her thing and put it on her wrist with the ribbon dangling down because I didn't nkow wehre to tie it to. The driver opens the door and I step out she s. Her cousin/broth/sister jumped in the front of the front of the limo to see what it looked like. She was yelling at them to get out(Hilarious). We finally made it to Rodizio Grill(probably spelled wrong too). We ate alot of meat! but I found out that Ashley can't eat meat that has been stabbed threw or someting around those lines. Oh ya forgot to mention about Travis and his Kilt because hes Irish I guess and his brother before him had worn one so he did. Let me bring up Limo+Kilt=Disturbing Ashley and Jared date had looked and noticed he has red and black checked boxers which was more than I had wanted to know. Anyways back to the story. We leave Rodizio Grill and head to prom in our Limo. If I didn't mention this Ashley would mention it somehow, somewhere. During the night I was feeling kinda bored and tired so I just leaned over on Travis shoulder just as a joke. But to my surprise he leans onto me which freaked me out and I start to slide away from him(HAPPY?)I felt rich going into the dance and poor leaving because the limo had left us. It was a great night there though I didn't get to really dance with Ashley as much as I had hopped but oh well. We went outside of the dance to a little area to cool down. She had really wanted to try the Pretzel Move that we had learned that Friday it took a few times but we finally got it to work and did it a few times before going back in. We had our pictures taken soon because we didn't want to wait in line for a long time. Ashley stole Travis's suit jacket half way threw the dance. Don't know why she didn't take mine but ohh well. We jumped into the entire prom picture of everyone. After that we were tired of being there because there was nothing to do so we started to ask if we could go. We polled everyone together and convinced them to go. Ashley wanted a cinnamon cream drink thingy from Barnes and Noble's Starbuck so we went in there grabbed it and went to the cars to go get ice cream. The ride was quite I had asked her if she was enjoying herself of course she said ya. There was an extra ribbon on the box of the Corsage so she took it and played with it the entire night threw she kept telling me that she would bite me if I took it away. I tried multiple times but finnaly at the end of the night I was able to get it and keep it away for about 10 minutes when it hurt too much to laugh. We end up at Cold Stones and grab some ice cream but ashly had only wanted a waffle cone and not any ice cream. I guess she was full from her drink. After that we go to Jared house and play DDR about 15 minutes after arriving Ashley falls dead asleep on the couch she looked some comfortable I didn't wana wake her up. So I just let her sleep while me and Travis played DDR. Then Travis left to go take his date home. We waited endlessly for him to arrive back so that me and Ashley could get a ride home. At about Midnight I wake up Ashley and ask when she needed to be home but she doesn't know when her curfew is so I figure we will just wait till Travis shows back up to give us a ride. At about 1 in the morning my dad calls and asks what im doing I tell him that im playing games while Ashley is just asleep so he comes over and picks us up as Travis just arrives. She still had Travis tux jacket from earlier, she tells my dad to hurry and go that she will return it tomorrow. On the ride home my dad asks how it went she says good. She was still tired so she slept half way to there then arriving at her house. She gets out and I follow soon after and walk her to the back door to say goodnight. I say thanks for going and give her a hug good night and she walks into her house. I just hope she didn't get in trouble for staying out so late. THE END
