Today at lunch I was told not only that my opinion didn't matter but also that because I stood up for myself and my opinion that I was pig-headed. I watched the deleted scenes from Rent l,ast night and I was telling people today during lunch that I thought that they should have put one of the scenes in even though it wasn't integral to the storyline. I was literally told by my b***h of a roommate that "It doesn't matter what you think." Obviously I'm just a little bit pissed about this (just a teeny tiny isty bisty bit). I immediatelky jumped in her s**t and told her "It does matter what I think. I have a right to have an opinion." She continued to argue with me for a second. That was until one of my "friends" decided to try to end the arguement by calling everyone pig-headed in german. Because it's supposed to be so funny to say we're all pig-headed and insult us in german. Well, ha ha ha. Sorry I'm not laughing at that. I'm laughing at the fact that I was the only one smart enough to understand that she was insulting us and that it wasn't funny. It's funny that I'm the only one who realizes that real friends do go around insulting each other and telling them that their opinions don't matter. Some friends. Maybe it's just the calibur of people at this school. Maybe it's just the calibur of people that I got to know. I'm not sure. But I do know that I don't get this kind of treatment at home. Why are my "friends" here so different? Why are they assholes?
