those words still ring in my mind, over and over like a broken record....
Did I give you a response? Was my voice ever heard?
I lie awake, staring at the ceiling, wondering why those words were said
I close my eyes and listen to the sound of rain inside my head
I open my eyes once more, I wish you were here with me
I know that if you were, there would be no more uncertainty
It's so easy for me to show you I care, but you might never show
I suppose that I love you more than you could ever know
My broken thoughts in simple verse is what this entry will always be
A reminder of pain inside my heart, and what you mean to me...
