Name: Dyaika Elmroot
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Race: Dryad
Rank: Youngest son of the king of the dryads.
Appearance: His skin is a pleasant golden-brown shade. His fingers are long and his hands are skinny and calloused, and he's lanky and tall in general. His eyes are almond-shaped and blue, with a little bit of green mixed in. His hair is black and utterly strait, and cut short at his jaw. He's not exactly plain, but not all that handsome either, and he's not muscular at all. His ears are pointed a little, somewhat like an elf's.
Personality: He's fun-loving and carefree, but with a witty, sarcastic edge. He loves to dance and sing, and is delighted by every type of musical instrument. He can play a lute passably well, and has an aversion to dogs and wolves of all kinds. Can you guess why?
History: Not much to tell. Since he's not heir to anything, or even that important in the dryad world, he just wanders about, enjoying himself.
Weapon(s): Dryads rarely fight. He never learned how to handle a weapon.
Power(s): He can turn into a tree (obviously!), but only if there's something for him to sink his roots into.

Age: 23-ish
Race: Human
Rank: Ranger
Appearance: Messy blond hair, brown eyes. He's not particularly tall, a fact which grieves him when he's trying to catch the attention of a crowd. He's not exactly handsome, but there's something pleasing about his features.
Personality: He's friendly, and he tries to fix the problems of almost everyone he comes across. He's rather softhearted, and loves traveling.
(I know it sounds wishy-washy, but it's almost impossible for me to describe some of my characters' personalities. >.< wink
History: He's always admired the Rangers, despite their somewhat shady reputation, and when he was old enough to be apprenticed, he surprised everyone by expressing his wish to join with said Rangers.
The more he learned about them, the more he liked them, and now he does his best as one of them.
Weapon(s): He can use both a short bow and a longbow reasonably well, but he's not an excellent shot with either, and thinks they're too bulky. He can also fight with and throw daggers reasonably well, but again, he doesn't like them very much, and is uncomfortable fighting at such close quarters. For hand-to-hand combat he mostly uses his rapier, and for long-distance his sling, which he's an expert at handling.
Power(s): He can track pretty well, and is good at camouflage.
