Have you ever heard of a story in which a child brought an animal home and was allowed to keep it as a pet. As a child you try it out and see if your parents will let you keep the animal you brought home. Most the time they say no.. With Oley, he litterally followed my sister home and we kept him...
Its been two years since Oley followed my sisters home. I can still remember him as a puppy, smaller then any of our cats. He would bite at my little sisters face cause he didnt like them and our mother threatened to get rid of him. It was clear that he was a pit mix and we didnt want him to bite others.. we later found though that he was very thin and had a few sores on his body. So we fixed him up and then put fliers out to get rid of him, cause we alrady had two dogs. Two weeks past and nothin happened so mum decided we should keep him. It was hard having a puppy at first, always so hyper and pissing everywhere. he had the habbit of at random times jumping over the three foot couch we had. He'd trip and fall cause his feet were soo big and when he wagged his tail he wagged his entire body. Oley was good for the first year then patches died and Daytona came into our life.
Oley hated daytona and tried to attack her. Saint on the other hand like Daytona so he protected her against Oley. We had dog fights five out of the seven days of the week cause Saint was protecting Daytona... It seemed to settle down until these past couple of months. Saint is old, has a lot of inguries, and a bad leg, so we knew that some day Oley would get to him. Oley was now twice the size (not height) of Saint. He was a big pit now and was only going to get bigger.
The past couple of monthes have been rocky. Saints inguries from old fights and fights with Oley were getting to him and he wasnt getting rest. Some how Oley knew when to attack Saint and did. There were about three times ((that i know of)) that Oley got our old Wolf and got him to the ground. We would scream and yell at Oley but he wouldnt stop, instead we'd have to scare Saint so that he would run from the fight. We were worried on what could happen but Oley never drew any blood so it was fine.
About three day ago though, Oley beat Saint to a bloody pulp. We almost lost Saint and we tried to decide what to do.. A pit really cant have blood cause it only intregues them to kill more.. thats what my parents said and at first we didnt think it would effect Oley.. that was until he started to growl at my little sister when she gave him food.
Oley did almost nothin wrong in his life time except fight with the other dogs and try to bite us... thats all but thats what had my parents put him down.. cause we couldnt have him attack my sisters.. or anyone else....
