A tiny bit I died today,
As my eyes made their way,
Across the page as I skim,
My heart was ripped with a sudden whim,
A little bit my heart cracked down,
Through the middle without a sound,
As I read the words you wrote,
The broken pieces of my heart you tote,
A lie that I have told right now,
For I use words like, little and tiny with a frown,
In all truth, and lies aside,
Today was the day, that my soul died,
Words are like blades, and if used right,
Can cut the skin, the soul, the heart like a knife,
Lies deceit fleeing through the air,
Out in the open for me to stare,
Lead me on, lead me astray,
And think one time you’ll be living that way,
When someone comes and takes your heart,
And you find that with it you must part,
Broken, betrayed, crushed again and again,
To break a heart….is a terrible sin.

You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one.
