sorry it's not a link,i couldn't get one,my apolagise.
this is a post from april,i found it today.
i already knew what was going on for a few days now,and sence VF is also about the music,i thought i'd bring it up.
well,long story short,congress wants to tax radio stations(small time radio stations like local ones and all,ones that are barely surviving)because all the new,small time,whatever you wanna call them,bands have convinced congress that they DO NOT have ENOUGH MONEY.
yes,all the bands that begged and begged these same radio stations to play them,to give their mesley little songs air time,have now decided that they don't care about any of that anymore.
they figure,they're rich now.
they have money,fame,fans,everything they could ever wish for,and that local radio is out of their lives for good.
when the truth is,they wouldn't be s**t in this world with out those stations.they obviously refuse to agree.
i for one,am outraged that congress would even think to do this.what gives them the right?any right at all?those bands shouldn't even be in the music buisness if that's what they've come to.
this will happen all across the country.
congress had a meeting this morning,10 a.m. at wayne state school of law.
there is no verdict yet,but they're getting closer to one.
i share this because i care.i care about having free radio and all the small time radio stations that are going to be exstinct if nobody dose anything about this.
but i'll stop telling you basically eveything i want you to read,so that you will read.

the goverment has taken away enough things we need and/or care about,but they CAN'T take our radio
