This is B.S.! Why on earth does the New York and the northern New Jersey area need another pop TOP 40 station? I would have preferred 92.3 K-Rock to continue playing classic rock, with some harder-edge current rock but no, now it's playing things like Kanye West, Beyonce, Pink, Flo Rida, Akon, Perry and Justiin Timberlake. For goodness's sakes, it's not like we don't already get enough of that in the other radio stations.
So you can see my surprise when I turn to 92.3 station and discover it playing was Britney Spears! At that point I was confuse, thinking that I may have put the wrong station or even got a bad connection but it was only after I looked it up that I realize that it wasn't K-Rock anymore.
I really don't care about K-Rock honesty (I just personally believe that they could've tried to mix it up a bit. For example: Have different days and times to play rock, gothic, alterative, death metal, hard rock, power metal, and so on to make it diverse).
It's the fact that they are now playing the same type of songs over and over that's killing me. We don't need another Z100 that plays the same 40 songs repeatedly. Some of you might tell me, if I don't like it than why am I listening to it?
I don't, it's just that K-rock use to play new rock songs and now it'll be difficult to hear new songs without having to suffer through pop and rap stuff. *Sigh* It's sad...

Rock music is dying now...
Even at my prom the DJ played all those new songs...which were all dirty and rap. The only "rock" song that they put was Kelly Clarkson. That pissed me off because she's not rock, she's damn pop!! Ugh, I don't mind listening to them once in a while but I refused to...to...*shivers* dance like that.

Or even listen to them on my own time because mordern rap sucks now. After Tupac and Notorious B.I.G.'s deaths it seems that rappers nowadays are acting too egotistic and rapping about money and image. Really...rap use to be "poetry in motion" about things that matter, about things that mean something but I don't see that anymore. Rap is becoming repetitive, about sex, money and all that pointless crap.
