Name: Kallista Age: 16 turns Sex: female Craft: Runner Rank: N/A *if it is, apprentice* Physical Description: Small and wiry, Kallista is lean with strong legs and defined muscle due to many runs. Though small, she is very tough-skinned and can handle heavy burdens not to mention spirited beasts as well. Her hair is reddish-brown that curls at the ends and gets coppery highlights in the summer. She tends to keep it tied back with a piece of leather. Kallista has slanted eyes that are a hazel color and tend to go more green when she is upset. Skin tone is a ivory beige that darkens in the summer with a light scattering of freckles. She prefers loose pants and tops so that she does not overheat on runs. Her favorite colors are greens and light browns. She is roughly 5'5" in height and about 120ish pounds. Personality:A diamond in the rough. That is the best way to describe Kallista. She can be sunshine and smiles one minute, serious and smart mouthed the next. She never lets anyone know what she is truly thinking. As a runner and messenger, she has learned to blend not only her looks but her mannerisms and speech as well. She adheres to the runner's code as well as her own personal morals-having them being strongly impressed upon her at an early age. In her mind tradition is tradition only when it helps out craft hall, hold and weyr. Knowing that change is sometimes needed in order to preservation, she looks to her father and brothers as examples on how to act. Kallista is always respectful of those who are her elders or higher ranked than her. History:Born is a runner hold in Ista, Kallista's parents migrated to Southern when her father decided to take up with others and work under the new lord. This took place when she was four turns old. Soon Master Orasel passed on and Byrad was asked to come back and take over as the Station Master. But one day her father refused to use his services to spy and work against the drago nriders; in retaliation, their station was vandalized. Compensated by Hold and Weyr, Byrand has made it very clear that anyone who disrespects the Weyr will have their messages ignored. Once Kallista hit the age of twelve, she began to go on runs with her brothers. When she was fourteen, she went on a run with her mother-they were caught in a flash flood and Kamorie was washed away. Kallista delivered her mother's message and then collapsed in shock. She woke up days later, no longer speaking of her mother or the event. But she has a fear of open water and rivers now. Pets: n/a Other/Talents:Kallista has a photographic memory. She can look at a message and memorize it, then repeat it back perfectly. This also goes for faces as well. She can tell describe a person, what they were wearing and when she saw them. As a runner, she can also understand basic drum messages as well as read and write.
