Happy Friday the 13th to me, I guess.
I was havin' a good day at school.
My friend was begging me to go see the new Friday the 13th movie that came out today with a bunch of others from our humongous group o' friends, and eventually, I decided I'd go.
Sure, whatever.
I don't know why this irks me the way it does, but it does.
My little brother smokes.
Okay, fine.
But when we got to the theater, a bunch of our group were smokin', so of course, he took a drag on this one guy's cigarette.
It just seems so frustrating to me, seeing him doing something that he knows damn well can kill him one day, and will get him in a lot of s**t with the 'rentals if they found out.
I guess it's just the natural instinct to want to protect him...
And then my mom, who I was so proud of cuz she quit smokin' for five months, started smoking again.
The only reason I know for sure is cuz she had a pack of Camels on her desk, and she stuck 'em in her pocket this morning.
It's kinda embarrassing to think that I was once so proud of her for her accomplishment, but then she just gives up like that.
...
I'm just so ******** tired of being a good kid.
But that's near to impossible.
Parents don't let me go any-damn-where, and I live too far away from people that I like to be with to just walk.
There's barely any alcohol in the house, and the little bit that we have, 'rents would notice if it was gone.
...
One day, though, I just wanna get absolutely trashed, drunk off my a**, and actually not care what everyone else thinks.
And so ends my little rant...
