Ahhh, Groundhog's Day, the second of February and the shortest month of the year, no matter if it is a leap year or not. We often see the groundhog as a harbinger of two seasons: winter and spring. When it sees its shadow there will be six more weeks of winter. If not, then spring is coming soon.

Others believe that story is outright fake, while others are convinced. Why? Many animals have thought to have predict whenever storms come and go from time to time. Like cats. When they pass their paw over one of their ears, they predict that there is a lighting storm approaching, supposedly. When the kitty is frisky, he's predicting some wind in the forecast.

Now I ask all of you this. Did the groundhog see his shadow this year? Where I live, it wasn't sunny out and was snowing (It still is!), so I think he did not. There is also an increase of temps where I live, like this weekend is supposed to be in the 40s and 50s. Cool huh?
