Lin sat on the couch in front of the TV. Rui was in the kitchen, getting two cups of soda. He didn't really care if he was involved with this kid now. It wasn't like his life wasn't ******** up already. Rui took the cups into the living room where Lin was, sat with him, and handed him the cup. Lin took the cup, and took a small sip.
"So what do you want to watch?" Rui asked.
Lin smiled as he put his cup down on his knee. "What do you want to watch?"
Rui shrugged, "I really don't care right now. What kind of movies do you like?"
"Horror, you?" Lin smiled.
Rui grabbed the clicker on the coffee tabel, and clicked down the screen. "The same, along with action, drama, romance, and anime."
"Cool. What movie do you want to watch?" Lin asked.
"How does, "Decendant" sound?" Rui asked, looking at Lin.
Lin nodded, and took another sip from the cup. Ruin scrolled down the horror list for on demand, and found the title "Decendant". He watched it with his sister once upon a time, and was so scared, he couldn't sleep. It was about these campers that go into this unexplored cave, and find some kind of animal, that eventualy kills them all, Rui though at least. Ruin just hoped that Lin was used to horror movies like this.
"Do you get scarred easily?" Rui asked.
"No, not really. Why? Afraid that I might pee my pants or something?" Lin laughed.
"No, not at all. I'm pretty sure that you can take it I guess. If you get scarred, I'll turn it off or something, kay?" Rui asked.
Lin smiled and nodded, gently grabbing Rui's hand. Rui didn't even care. He was over the new fact that he was this guy's boyfriend. It wasn't going to be that bad, right? What was the worse that could happen? But Rui knew the answer to that. The worse that could happen, was that he would fall in love. Rui didn't think that was very possible though. That only happened in his books.
"Why did you cut your hair, and dye it red?" Lin asked, sipping his soda.
Rui glanced at Lin, but then at the TV. "Because. I want to escape the thrown, but everything I do just makes my people that much happier."
"So you tried to be somebody else? Smart, but I bet people would notice."
"I don't know, my family didn't notice me at first, so I thought no one else would. I underestimated the pesants though."
"Pesants?"
"That is high school's name for them. They are the people that do the stuff that other people wouldn't. Like go to band, clubs, and do extra homework. People who take care of themselves better than hanging with friends." Rui explained.
Lin got closer to Rui, and wrapped around his arm. "I think I'm a pesant then. Do I have to start out in the begining as a pesant as well?"
Rui shook his head. "No, it's like a rule that who ever is with me is cool. Like the holy grail or something."
"Oh." Lin muttered.
Rui looked down at Lin, and smiled, grabbing his hand. Lin seemed like a good guy, better than any of his other "friends". He never really had friends to begin with. Friends help on both ends. When ever somebody had trouble with something, Rui tried to help, but they wouldn't let him. He was never really a friend, was he? He was just a wanted figure in a school. How fun did that sound?
"What did you want to be when you grow up, Rui?" Lin asked, staring at the screen.
Rui took a look at Lin, but then at the screen as well. "Not really sure. You?"
"I wanted to be a body gaurd to the emporor. Now I want to be an inventor." Lin explained.
"Body gaurd?" Rui asked.
"Well, yha. I'm trained in martial combat, and know how to hold a gun." Lin said.
"Why didn't you just go beat up your old boyfriend then?" Rui asked.
Lin took a sip of the soda again. "I don't use my skills to hurt people that do me wrong. If they did, it was probuably my fault, so why take it out on them?"
Rui smiled wirily. He figured that Lin was really mature for his age. Unlike himself. Lin had the chance to take out his sadness, and anger on his exguy, but he didn't. Instead, he figured it was his fault. How could somebody his age be that mature?
"So you've never beaten anybody up?" Rui asked.
Lin shook his head. "Nope, not once. You have to always think of what happens after your actions, and that has been what I live after. Watch your actions, and you wont need to watch your future."
"Since you're so wise, what do you think I should do about this whole king thing?" Rui asked.
Lin shrugged, "You could just help them figure out their own future. That or, do things you know they hate. They'd get bored with you eventualy."
Rui nodded, and pressed the play button on the clicker. The screen lit up, and the movie started. Rui was happy. He was boyfriend with a super smart person. What could be better. He was wise, or so what he lets out is.
