I got my hair cut today. It had been almost 6 months since I had last gotten it cut, and it was down to the small of my back and struck through with red highlights. Now it's at mid-shoulderblade length in my original almost-black brown color. It's so light and shiny now, though I know that won't stay. After all, it will be another 6 months before I get it cut again.
On the way to the salon, we drove in the dark. I forgot how beautiful the night sky was when you aren't separated from it by a window. It's been over a month now since I last drove at nighttime, and I really missed it.
I love the night. I hope I don't get to bogged down with schoolwork again that I don't have time to go outside of my house to see it.
